Top notch! The tobacco is a rich aroma mixed with different shades of pleasing aroma. The website was user friendly and easy to navigate. The delivery was timely and relatively short after ordering. Thank you!

    The Shire

I bought this because I love Lord Of The Rings and it has been enjoyable. The peach is there but having some mint sweet tea on the side definitely brings it out. Out of the tin it was only fresh, not moist. So it packs and smokes easily.

    Pleasantly surprised!!!

First, let me say that I am a huge LOTR fan so anything that gets me in the mind frame is a winner for me. Second, I had been looking for some type of citrus or peach like blend and I have to say this is very close to what I’ve been looking for. Pleasantly surprised. Will be doing a complete review on our podcast, “Does it smoke, like it smells?” Tune in on YouTube as we review our pipe experiences. Peace!

Let me say that I bought this strictly because I’m a huge LOTR fan. I was not disappointed the tenant is amazing and it’s a super smooth smoke.

    Amazing

Bilbo would be proud to sit by a fire with his wooley feet up and smoke Auenland by Vauen. This tobacco is absolutely amazing. It's a mild smoke with a fruity aroma and a full-bodied tobacco flavor but no bite. It's pricey but worth the cost. I seriously wish the price could come down and volume go up. But when I take the last puff of what I bought I will definitely buy again.

Not BAD but I've had better

Posted by Nomad on 2nd Feb 2022

It's hard to say I didn't like this tobacco, but for a flavored tobacco I can't say I'm as impressed. My usual Cavendish is the L.J. Peretti 432 blend from Boston, and I can't say I have found better. So what's wrong here? The tin note on this is quite nice and I catch most of what other people talk about there with citrus and peach scents. Once I get into the smoke however, most of these notes disappear and I find the flavor to be a tad plain. It's not that what's there is a bad flavor in itself but a lot of what you hope to taste gets lost. I wonder if this blend leans a bit too much towards the Burley, which a lot of aromatics like to use for their base...which might explain another issue. The room note, while pleasant during the smoke, overstays its welcome long past when you're done. It's a bit too cloying which I find happened whenever I tried a Burley. In comparison that 432 blend being a Cavendish lingers but it's scent is light, smells like baking cookies and is usually gone by the morning, unlike this Shire blend. All things considered, I know I have my own tastes and even after 15 years smoking a pipe, I am by NO means an authority. I usually find myself back to the tin of tobacco I've been smoking for nearly all of those years, so maybe my tastes are too ridged and I am easily disappointed by anything outside of my usual blend or maybe my tastes aren't able to appreciate it. I have tried many tobaccos from mainstream stuff like Captain Black and Half and Half, to several MacBarens, and English tobaccos and even other L.J. Peretti types and so far I have only really enjoyed the 432 blend. Take that for what you will because I know this comes pretty highly rated so you might be able to get what I could not. I'm just going to give as honest an opinion as I can.

    THE MOST TASTY TOBACCO EVER!

Posted by Vauen Auenland The Shire on 19th May 2021

five stars… I wish there was a higher rating I could give to this exquisite blend from Vauen! There are no words to describe just how exquisitely relaxing and delicious it is. Every time I smoke a bowl of this, it transports me to the world of the Lord of the Rings, and I am the happiest man alive! There is something intangible about this that is hard to describe. suffice to say, I will be smoking this until my very last day. Ridiculously highly recommended!
