Two Friends blends were created by a collaboration of the late Craig Tarler of Cornell & Diehl and the founder of G. L. Pease, Gregory Pease. Two geniuses, creating a particularly special set of blends.
"Two Friends" is an appropriate name for something developed by Tarler and Pease, as those two men had a lasting friendship that started with Tarler assisting Pease in developing his initial G. L. Pease blends in 2000. Sadly, Tarler passed away in 2012, at the age of 82. Tarler's legacy lives on with both the Cornell & Diehl company and the Two Friends brand.
Two Friends produces seven different blends, and you should easily be able to enjoy any of them.
Celtic Mist is a combination of Burley, Cavendish, and Virginia tobaccos. Added into this tobacco is a flavor called "essence of Irish Mist." Once added, you get a pleasant and fun room note with a delightful flavor you will enjoy. Great for any time of the day, you should thoroughly enjoy this blend.
Deacon's Downfall is a massive mixture featuring Latakia, Orientals, Black Cavendish, Virginia, and Perique tobaccos. Not an aromatic, but you will still get a strong room note from this blend, as the tobaccos themselves provide a powerful flavor you will want to have again and again.
Wake up to the Bed and Breakfast blend. A blend including Cavendish, Latakia, Orientals, and Virginia tobaccos, you will enjoy this blend as a great morning tobacco. Though this is not the only time you can appreciate it, as this tobacco can be enjoyed any time of the day.
Redwood tobacco is a classic Virginia/Perique tobacco with a touch of toasted Black Cavendish added in. You will get a pleasant room note with this tobacco, and it will be a rich and soothing flavor when you light a bowl of this.
The Heritage blend is a classic American style blend. Featuring Black Cavendish, Burley, Cavendish, and Virginia tobaccos, you will also get hints of maple, plum, and rum flavorings. English Chocolate is a comfortable dessert tobacco. Combining Latakia and Virginia tobaccos, they added chocolate flavoring, creating a sweet and savory flavor with a tantalizing aroma. If you like chocolate, you will like this blend.
Finally, there is the Valle Crucis blend. Another large combination, this tobacco has Black Cavendish, Latakia, Orientals, Perique, and Virginia tobaccos, with ginger added in for flavor. While you will appreciate the aroma, the sweet and spicy flavor is what helps this blend stand out.
