Pure and Simple Love it of Hate it
This Pure Semois Burley is from the Ardennes Valley in Belgium and is as plain and simple as tobacco gets. The unique flavor from this tobacco is unlike any other Burley you have ever tasted and if you like Burleys, you will probably love this. If Burleys are take-or-leave-it proposition for you, then you will probably not like it. Yes, as a previous reviewer mentioned, you do get some stems in the brick, but only a few. It's on the stouter side of the spectrum and it's great as a blending tobacco too. La Brumeuse La Petite Robin La Volute Reserve du Patron It makes no difference. They are all the very same strain of pure Semois. The only difference is in how it is cut. It makes no difference to me. I love this stuff!

Not My Favorite
I had high hopes. I did all my research and was ready for this really dry, flavorful, unique tobacco that is said to be a must try. It came as expected but, when I got some out to prepare a bowl, I kid you not, at least 1/4-1/3 was just broken up stems. So, they say you get a killer deal with the price because its so dry so, you get more tobacco because there is less moisture. I would take moisture any day over the amount of stems I got. It took longer than any SG to prepare with none of the reward. No hate at all on tobaccopipes though! Ben and everyone else are awesome. Cheers!
