Sometimes a name tells the whole story. Vanilla Custard is a creamy tobacco that tastes are reminiscent of an old tyme ice cream parlor. A mix of numerous Cavendish tobaccos topped with Vanilla meant to soothe anyone who is privileged with a bowl. Fantastic flavors with a room note to match! Sutliff Vanilla Custard is perfect on its own and will aid any blend if one were to choose to blend something personal.

My Favorite
If I had to choose just one tobacco to smoke for the rest of my life, this would be the one! I have several other tobaccos that I enjoy, but I try never to run out of Vanilla Custard. It's a great smooth smoking aromatic.

Vanilla custard cream
It's smooth but it also gums up the bottom of the pipe

Vanilla Find
Finally found a tobacco with a good vanilla flavor. I would give it a 5 except it is extremely moist and if it tasted as good as it smelled in the bag.

Custard Cream
Absolutely terrible. I ordered some of this a few months ago, based on the reviews. The smell in the bag smells like something is wrong with it. Upon lighting it, I was met with the taste of mold. Everything looked ok though and there wasn't anything that looked out of the ordinary. I chalked it up to being sent some old stock and reordered some a couple of weeks ago ( only 1 oz this time). Same thing. Smells and tastes like.mold. I don't know if I have been sent some bad stuff twice, or if it is supposed to taste like mold, but I won't waste any money on it again.

Not Good
I've generally enjoyed most pipe tobaccos I've tried, but Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard was an exception. While it has a pleasant aroma in the bag, it fails to deliver once lit. The tobacco has difficulty staying lit, which might not be a bad thing considering its unpleasant taste. It reminds me of a loose-leaf tobacco called Maryland 609, which I also didn't enjoy. Overall, I've had mixed experiences with Sutliff tobaccos. Some have been alright, but I haven't explored their private stock yet. Based on this experience, I'm likely to steer clear of this brand in the future.

Don't get the love!
First off, it has an "interesting" smell to it. That smell is flan. Secondly, the tobacco is all of a similar color and looks tired and low quality. Against my better judgement, I tried some after it failed the smell test. I did not finish the bowl. More for the rest of you!

Underwhelming
Great room note, but underwhelming flavor. Was expecting a blast of vanilla that never came.
