Sutliff Red VA ribbon tobacco
Very dry tobacco, sort of a harsh taste, a lot of bite lights easy, burns fast, leaves a foul taste in your mouth.

Good Red VA for blending
This reminds me of Sutliff RC-1, but without the vinegar smell from the bag and taste and tang when smoking it. All in all a great straightforward red Virginia that has wonderful sweet and bready (yeasty) and toasty notes. Reminds me of Mc. Red cake as well, but without the tang and vinegar taste and smell. Would recommend, though I won't be purchasing more as I prefer the RC-1.

An excellent Va. Smooth as a baby's butt. Mixed with about 20 to 25% perique makes a superior mixture. Smokes down to a fine ash with little to no dottle. Service from Tobacco Pipes is superior. I now deal with T.P. only. Best prices and best service. Order on a Monday and get on Thursday. What can be better?
