Where is the caramel?
I purchased for the caramel and was highly disappointed. Very dry also.

A Really Great Smoke... but
But it's been so many years since I've smoked the original, I can't tell you if it is an exact match. To the best of my recollection, it is very close. HOWEVER, even if it's not an exact match, it is still a great smoke - now one of my favorites. To me, it is full flavored, but not strong. It has a bit of spice due to the Orientals, but it is subtle. Maybe even sophisticated. My wife1 enjoys the aroma. Mostly what I liked is that it is very smooth, comfortable smoke, and I experienced no bite. This is a great end-of week, I'm-going-to-give-myself-a-treat smoke. If it is not a true match, just call it something else and enjoy it for what it is.

A perfect match!! The taste and flavor are just as good if not better than the original. The tobacco has that same cut and feels like the original.
