Becoming a year-round go to
This is a somewhat simple blend that continues to bring me happiness every time I smoke it. And, it has the added benefit of getting better and better as it ages. Going to be stocking up on this in the future.

SUTLIFF RL-ENGLISH LONG CU
Really liked it, especially in my large bowled GBD from the 60's. Actually smoked well in the three different pipes I have smoke it in.

RL-English Long Cut
My palate is sensitive to some tobaccos, and I got back into smoking pipes several months ago. Any aromatic might as well be called tongue bite, the tobacco as far as I'm concerned. I was picking up tobacco from local tobacconists, and one had this tobacco. I picked up a small pouch and smoked the first bowl and it bit me pretty hard, but sometimes the first couple of bowls do that to me, and then my body adjusts. This was one such tobacco. By the third bowl, it was smoking smooth and mellow in a basket pipe that up until then had smoked like white-hot death. It's now one of my favorite pipes with this tobacco. I just opened a jar that has been sealed for five months and I'm happy, oh so happy. Aged for a few months and this stuff is superb. I'm currently ordering another pound. Again, I got back into pipe smoking not too long ago, but my experience thus far with nonaromatic Sutliff blends is that aging a bit makes a huge difference. If you can wait, they're a steal at the prices here.
