For me, this one hits stronger than average on nicotine. A very balanced English Blend. Great flavor, some similarities to Bengal Slices but a bit milder profile. Salt, sweet and as another review said, maybe a hint of natural chocolate. Quality is high, and has as smooth smokiness rather than a harsh astringency or heavy oak.

Price was great, super fast delivery to my door, perfect moisture content, this blend could be the perfect all day smoke or even reserved for special occasions.

My favorite smoke. It is ready to smoke out of the tin though a little drying helps it to smoke down to the bottom of the bowl with no relights. This is a very wonderful balanced blend. All of the components are discernable and work beautifully together.

I found this to be delightfully dark, thick, chewy, and a bit chocolate-y. I've been on an English kick as of late during the colder months of winter here, and this was one of several. It's good quality presentation, burn, etc. I've ordered more and will return to it when the seasons turn again. Mind you I'm doing a lot of exploring right now, but this is of a quality I appreciate. Crumbles exquisitely and loves many pipes.

SWEET SMOKEY HEAVEN to me!... When I first tried this one, it instantly jumped to the TOP of my all time favorites list!... The tin note, for me, is like "catnip" to a cat... and, to each his own (of course), BUT I can't get enough of the "room note" of this one!... The Latakia is just about PERFECT for me and it somehow has an indescribable "sweetness" that keeps me coming back for more. I haven't been lucky enough to get my hands on any "Penzance" to see if it lives up to it's reputation and all the hype, but for my tastes, Crumble Kake English #1 has quickly become the "English blend" that I judge all others by.

This blend is the perfect Balkan blend at a lower price than what one would expect to pay for such glorious flavors. Sutliff has raised the bar for all American tobacco blenders. One tin and you'll agree. It doesn't get much better than this!
