    Count Pulaski

I'd been searching for an English tobacco that smelled like a tobacco that was smoked by friends in college, and this was it. A great English tobacco that is mild enough to smoke all day with lots of Latakia to savor. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did.

This is a mild yet very flavorful Latakia blend. To me it’s reminiscent of Arango’s Balkan Supreme ... but CP lacks the “rough edges” of Balkan Supreme (rough until it’s well aged anyway). Albeit I’m a seasonal Latakia blend smoker ... At this price point me thinks it was well worth it. As always, my kudos go out to the fine folks at Tobacco Pipes and their excellent customer service. Thanks guys!

An American English that hits the mark if you are looking for a smooth English type. Good stuff and worth a try.

    Count Pulaski

This is a pleasant mild to medium English/American with a light topping. Has a mild nic-hit. Virginia is the main player here. Rather than dominating, the burley adds body & a hint of nuttiness & earth. The latakia is in the background giving a nice smokiness. (When in the mood I'll add extra latakia & a touch of perique to an ounce or two for something different) Apart from a light sweetness, I can't really taste the anise or rum topping. Would be a good blend for those venturing from aromatics to English/American blends or English lovers looking for something a bit different. I'll be ordering more. Definitely recommended.

I have smoked this for several years now. It used to be Sutliff Private Stock Kasimir. This is my every day, all day tobacco. The burley and Virginia are complimented by the latakia. Aged 6 months or more, it gets even better. High-Quality tobacco that smokes down to a fine ash with little to no dottle. Customer service is top drawer. These guys are now the folks I do all my business with. Order on a Monday, get on a Thursday. It doesn't get any better than that!!!

    Wonderful English Tobacco

Posted by Nedd Mudd on 4th Feb 2019

First - I am so glad TobaccoPipes.com has an up to date shipping and tracking system. This is one of the reasons I shop here... plus the best selection for ANY online retailer. Thanks for the quality service and products! Second - I was really bummed when Sutliff discontinued Kasimir tobacco. It was one of my favorites. After some research, I got word that they had replaced it with Count Pulaski. Skeptical, I tried it... While I don't believe it to be an exact replacement (maybe it is) however, It is a great tobacco. After buying a pouch to try, I ended up buying a one pound bag and intend to buy more to stock the cellar. I love the smokey, sourness from the Turkish/Orientals. I highly recommend this tobacco!!!
