Haven't smoked Latakia in years
I don't like Latakia and purchased this by mistake. Either my taste has changed or I smoked some rotten stuff back then. The "bite", for a lack of a better term, is on the roof of my mouth and it's not really a bite. Very interesting. While I won't be smoking this everyday, I will be putting it into my rotation. Pleasantly surprised

Sutliff Burma Road
Smoking a bowl currently, and enjoying immensely. A no-nonsense Balkan/English blend. Very little to recommend in the way of a participation sport, as the the room note is...less than....pleasant. The flavor, however, is pure exotic and every day bliss. No bite, very (to me) full flavor with some most interesting notes in a melody of slightly differing tastes which work in synergy for a wonderful experience.
