Very aromatic, woodsy, smooth yet strong.
Mixed with Creme Brulee...? AWESOME! This is a difficult tobacco to secure.

Burn
This was a good trial but not for a seasoned smoker

Tobacco
Sutliff Butter Pecan tastes exactly like the name implies. You get a buttery flavor mixed in with a woody taste. The flavor is satisfying to the palate. The sweetness is not overpowering, but is a very subtle taste. This is a very satisfying blend that I will keep in rotation.

A good taste of butter and pecan and a room note that was sweet.

Pleasant aromatic
Butter Pecan from Sutliff is one of my newest favorites. As many reviewers have noted, the mix is moist to say the least and some drying time per bowl is something that can be beneficial for lighting. If you're like me and a bit impatient, you can pack the chamber from the pouch/jar/tin and deal with the dampness. Like other damp blends, an aggressive, somewhat extended first light is called for, but you won't get much in the way of keeping it lit at that point. Then pack firmly with a tamper after the extended first light (there will be no cherry) and then re-light. The second light should start the smoking experience proper. Once lit at this point and properly attended, I didn't find the blend to smoke much differently than others that start drier. The moderate sweetness is just right (for me) and the room note is fantastic. This, along with C&D's Mountain Camp (English blend: https://www.tobaccopipes.com/cornell-diehl-mountain-camp-pipe-tobacco/), are all-day candidates with lower nic hits and nice notes. I'm ordering another 8 oz. and this blend will most likely be in regular rotation for the foreseeable future.

Good tobacco. Differant Taste.
Like the nut taste. Hard to keep lite.

Great flavor, peculiar cut.
I was very excited to try this tobacco, and upon experiencing it, I wasn't disappointed. It has a very solid flavor and the room note is particularly pleasant (even when drying pre-pack). The only issue I have with this product is the cut. It is considered a ribbon cut, which it is! However, it's very chunky and much of the ribbons are quite broad and elongated. It's not as easy to pack and doesn't burn as nice as most standard ribbon cuts that I've experienced. This isn't a major issue, but I have to break and grind this tobacco more than I would with other ribbon cut tobaccos. I realize that this could very well be just the batch that I received. Overall, I am happy with this product and I would likely consider a refill in the future.

Wonderful aromatic!
Very nice heavy smoke. Sweet mixture with the right amount of bite. Mine was very fresh and moist, but pleasant to leave open to dry a while.

Sutliff B33 Butter Pecan Pipe Tobacco
Overall I buy a lot of Sutliff and think they make a good product. Like the taste and aroma. The only thing to note is, it's pretty moist so it makes it a little hard to stay lit. Needs some drying time. Will get more.
