Tasty all around!
This is my first real experience with pipe tobacco in many, many years. I really enjoy this blend. The price is right and it's a very satisfying smoke, not too rough, low bite, great and potent flavor that has some staying power. I now no longer need to burn scented candles, I'll be buying this one again! Thank you to all the other reviews, they're really helpful! :D

I have a new favorite! My favorite before this was Cornell and Diehl's Maple blend. I first tried the 999 blend in my Peterson Harp after a thorough cleaning with some cheap bourbon. From the first puff, I was very impressed. So much so that I have also dedicated my Altinay meerschaum to it as well. Great taste, lovely room note, and it burns cool and complete. This would be a sweet tobacco for a newcomer to pipe smoking. I highly recommend it!

Smooth, sweet smoke
This was pleasant and engaging. It reminded me of walking into The Tinder Box when I was younger. Barely even bit when I was lighting it.
