Wet but smells good

Great smoke; mild, draw slowly and enjoy … especially the loved one thank you’ve been married to for 51 years, points to the door when you start smoking your pipe that contains your favorite oriental blend, you probably decide that you need to go to an aromatic.

Delicious. A Sutliff triumph. Excellent tin and room note. Rather moist requiring a deft touch packing, but burns cool and complete if not packed too firmly. I have dedicated an AKB meerschaum, my Peterson Harp bent billiard, and Brigham rustic bent egg to my first pound, I will undoubtedly get another pound when this is finished. 4 stars is my highest rating for an aromatic, I highly recommend this for everyone.

Tin & room notes are amazing! Smokes nicely and has a creamy, sweet taste. Very nice smoke for this new piper.

Think it's my favorite so far

I really did want to like this blend! With all the great reviews I had to try this blend and had such great hopes. It's true it smells great in the bag and gives a fantastic room note. The flavor, while it starts off tasting sweet and exactly like it smells, for me, the sweet dessert flavor soon subsides and I was left with pure nuttiness from the Burley and that about it. I did buy 2 ounces of it and I will not give up on it, may even switch to a cob and see if that helps.
