Sutliff 504C Aromatic English Pipe Tobacco

Excellent flavor and aroma-highest recommendation.

A great blend all on its own. A good introduction to latakia for aromatic smokers. This is a crossover blend (although aromatic english is a perfect description as it is indeed simply an aromatic with latakia added). This blend has a whisky note/flavor very similar to McClellands Frog Morton Cellar, although I add a bit more latakia and some stoved virginia to get it closer to the fm blend. Highly recommend trying it.

Although a personal opinion, this tobacco is the most pleasant pipe tobacco I have had the pleasure of smoking. Grand aroma, not harsh, but reasonably potent. Magnificent.

When something from Sufliff which I think I CAN and WILL smoke (based on a usually scant number of reviews) is on sale for 30% off, I purchase 5# and hope for the best. I've not been terribly disappointed, and have been occasionally delighted. This mixture is nice tobacco, a bit damp, but should dry. Nothing great, and the name "Aromatic English" is a bit oxymornic. However, I'm quite happy on balance, given the huge discount. Would I purchase again? Probably not.

I actually dont like this a lot but Im still giving 4 stars because it burns good and most of the tastes and aromas are good, I'm just not a big fan of latakia. Other than that, this is a really good pipe blend.

Imagine your classic English blend with a little sweetness. All the Latakia and other components with a dash of black cavendish to knock off the edges. That’s what this is. Very easy to smoke.

I like this tobacco quite a bit. A very pleasant smoke. My favorite so far. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I am quite new to pipe smoking and so I will reserve the highest rating for when I am more experienced. Service and shipping are great as usual.
