    Mark Twain

This is a wonderful Danish style cavendish. No flavors, just a nice blend for a mild soothing smoke. A slight hint of sweetness adds to the enjoyment. A pleasant change up from English blends that are my main choice. Always have a supply on hand. As one reviewer wrote, if you don't like this blend, you don't like smoking pipes.

Amazing pouch note turned out to be deceptive - first few puffs were ok - light baking spice and nuts which sadly turned into a strange chemical , bitter taste. I tried it in different pipes but got same results.

A New Favorite - Sweet and Mild

Posted by JamisonS on 24th Sep 2021

Bought a small bag to try and thoroughly enjoy it. Sweet and mild, creamy but light, with a sweet and pleasant room note.. Not overly flavored, a good balance of sweetness and smoke. Smokes cool and stays lit with little effort. Ready to smoke out of the bag after a false light. My favorite tobaccos are aromatic and mild, and I love a leathery tin note. Lane Limited makes some of my favorite simple blends (LL-7 and 1-Q), and this feels similar in its simplicity, balance, and subtlety. This was a great find for my tastes.

    Rich blend

Posted by Eric on 3rd Jun 2019

A sweet, mild blend that is rich in flavor. The flavors of the sweet Cavendish and richness of the Burley combine nicely with Virginia. Personally, I'd prefer a bit more Virginia as the bread notes were really nice but mostly in the background. I rubbed it out a bit as the Cavendish bits were pretty chunky and I did dry it a bit before smoking; with that prep, there was no bite.
