Black Kathy
This is about as mild as tobacco can get and still have flavor. Quite pleasant. I use it mostly for blending

O.K. but not great.

SUTLIFF 101 BLACK KATHY
A bit wet as most tobacco's of this type are so dried it a bit and it burnt a bit hot but mellowed as I smoked it down almost to the bottom of the bowl.

Nice Flavor
I like this tobacco, I like it a lot, it lost a star because it burns pretty hot. After my first bowl, I had to move it over to a corncob and really work at the slow smoke to keep the pipe cool. I will buy this again though

Awesome Smoke
I recently purchased a couple of pouches of Sutliff’s Black Kathy. I had previously smoked some a couple of years ago and found it to be a pleasant smoke. Being a big fan of Vanilla Black Cavendish’s I have been smoking a lot of C&D’s Green River Vanilla Cavendish and Lanes Vanilla Cavendish the last couple of years both having a slightly different taste. Having decided I needed to try something different In the Black Cavendish family I jumped online and purchased a few blends. One of the ones I purchased was Sutliff’s Black Cathy. This blend has only a slight hint of vanilla which results in a sweeter smoke. I found to be pleasant creamy, cool burning smoke with no hint of a bite. Less Vanilla topping appears to make it a richer sweeter smoke than those with more vanilla. Try it you will be most pleasantly surprised. Fred Neslage
