Smoker's Pride Cherry Cavendish Pipe Tobacco

The second of two pipe tobaccos that hit the trash can - taste closely matches a dentist's office. It did burn fairly smoothly and didn't bite much for a cherry blend.

Very pleased with taste and Price

I bought this at a store, not on this website, but as the title says it’s a good value (better on this website than in the store, too), and it’s not actually super sweet. It smells a lot sweeter than it tastes. It’s not bad in a bowl by itself, though it’s not super complex or anything, and it needs to be pulled on fairly gently. Its flavor is a bit fragile in that sense, but if treated right it produces a pleasant cherry taste that doesn’t at all resemble cough syrup to me. The fact that it’s not super sweet makes it good for blending with sweeter aromatics in my opinion. Goes great with the maple walnut pie from cobblestone. I like to mix mostly cherry cavendish with a bit of sweeter aromatics for a nice, sweet but not overpowering or sickly blend. I find it best to let it sit in a bag with other tobaccos for the moistures to equalize for a more even burn. I’ve largely been interested in non aromatic blends or very subtly topped blends, but this is great to smoke while my other tobaccos are dwindling and I don’t want to open the jars I have aging. I’d buy this again, but due to the size of the bag and the fact that I don’t smoke it daily, I won’t have to for quite some time.

Great room note but just your average cherry flavor. It is good mixed with Vanilla Cavendish though and bumps it up to a 4.

Of all the tobaccos I've smoked, this one is the mildest & most pleasant. I prefer it to any other tobacco.
