Plum Pudding is the most popular luxury tobacco in America. Ever wonder why its called Plum Pudding? Years ago, when Joe Lankford created this legendary English style tobacco he decided to name it for a special holiday treat cherished for centuries in England. The Plum Pudding has long been the centerpiece of Christmas holidays -- a tradition honored to this day. And Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding blends are the centerpiece of luxury tobacco fans everywhere.

SPC brand pipe tobaccos have been the equivalent of trending in the pipe tobacco community. As soon as the first blends were released in micro batch form in 2007, the club has experienced the snowball effect of popularity. Arguably their most delicious and popular blend is the Plum Pudding. SPC Plum Pudding
I tried Plum Pudding because I saw how it was regarded in the pipe community.also I think my tastes for different pipe tobaccos have been maturing and I was ready for something a little different. I was not at all disappointed with this blend...If you happen to like the taste of Latakia, Orientals, and Perique, you should definitely try this blend...it is very interesting, complex, sweet, sour, smoky and this has shown me what the hype was all about. This is a very good blend if you enjoy tasting out different qualities of good tobacco blends. I break off, lightly rub out, then dry for a short while.., then enjoy the concert of flavors...no doubt about it,..this has become a favorite of mine. Its a little more expensive, but I will purchase this again.

Plum Pudding
Very happy with this. It's smooth and complicated.

Not my cup of tea
This is some strong stuff. Remember the old telephone poles and RR cross ties that were treated with creosote..ever cut into one of those with a saw well this is just like filling your bowl with that sawdust and giving it a light and a big toke. Thanks for the memories but no thanks.

New favorite
I've been searching for something to fill the void of losing Dunhill this year and trying to find a suitable replacement, and this checks all the boxes. Not to be compared to Dunhill. I approach this tobacco with other recommendations and I see what the hype is about. This is really good stuff. A latakia blend that is well rounded thoughtfully processed and available for the cellar. The price point is a little elevated but it is also not a bulk tobacco. Not bitey. Smokes cool. This is my new everyday tobacco. Thank's

Taste
Rich and smokey like a peat rich single malt. Very heady smoke, best if you're home for the evening.

Can't say enough good things about this blend.
This is the best pipe tobacco I have ever had. I did break it apart pretty good but will leave it chunky next time as I read it enhances the flavors even more. But, even breaking it up, I smoked cool, no bite, awesome flavors that wafted in and out.

Delicious
A well-blended grouping of tobacco. It has a complex myriad of flavors with an excellent burn.
