Plum Pudding is the most popular luxury tobacco in America. Ever wonder why its called Plum Pudding? Years ago, when Joe Lankford created this legendary English style tobacco he decided to name it for a special holiday treat cherished for centuries in England. The Plum Pudding has long been the centerpiece of Christmas holidays -- a tradition honored to this day. And Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding blends are the centerpiece of luxury tobacco fans everywhere.

SPC brand pipe tobaccos have been the equivalent of trending in the pipe tobacco community. As soon as the first blends were released in micro batch form in 2007, the club has experienced the snowball effect of popularity. Arguably their most delicious and popular blend is the Plum Pudding. This is a strong mixture of five different tobaccos, but seems to be one of the silkiest textured tobaccos out there. People are going crazy over this blend. Order your new tin today!

Cool smoking. Great flavor.

This tobacco is so good. Very rich, flavorful, slow burning. It's everything I had heard about.

Plum Pudding
I am shocked at how this tobacco has earned such high regards. It’s almost like famous for being famous. So I caved in to the hype and ordered a tin at this site. So I ordered the 4-ounce size and received a paper container equivalent to a biscuit tube at the grocery store. The container was 3/4 empty and the tobacco was similar to tar cakes. Way too wet to smoke without a significant dry time. I couldn’t keep it lit all the way to the bottom of the bowl. The taste was like a campfire and the cost is almost double of most renowned blends. Absolutely no way is this stuff a better value then Peterson My Mixture 965. I mean what the heck; are people just raving about this to be fashionable? NEVER again for me.

Never a balkan guy but this stuff is really good. Latakia does not overpower the tobacco. the cavendish mellows the blend.

Different
This was somewhat of a let down for me. I was expecting based off the reviews and advertising something completely different. To me this has an almost chemical taste with tongue bite and harshness. The smell from the Tin is great but for me it doesn’t translate to the pipe. I will continue to smoke in rotation and adjust my review accordingly.

Plum Pudding
I recently tried this English blend, and though i could still be wrong, it looks like English blends aren't for me. This one and the other one tasted like flowers.

Plum Pudding
Very good. Smooth, full bodied with no bite. Only downside is that for my taste there are blends just as nice for a lot lower price.

Good smoke.
The smell instantly reminds me of Drum Halfzware cigarette rolling tobacco, in smell only. It produced a flavorful peppery smoke for me. Little maintenance after lighting, tamping and re-lighting. Smoked in a rattrays six friends billiard.
