Seattle Pipe Club Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged Pipe Tobacco

Smokes cool, not harsh at all , good nic and rum on top then rich tobacco flavor all way to bottom of bowl.

This was recommended to me by Greg, form Tobaccopipes.com, based on my interest in suggestions for pipe tobacco for an infused cigar aficionado. This is a decadent smoke. The fragrance of the unlit tobacco is like a fruited rum, and the smoke, in my opinion, tastes like a delicious rum cake. Bready, rummy, and raisiny. I haven't learned to smoke slowly, but I didn't get any tongue bite. This is definitely a delicious option after a big meal. Like a dessert in a pipe. I highly recommend this one!

This is a pretty good blend, but super expensive. The rum is dominant in the can, but not so apparent in the smoke. I don't like it any better than my own mix of equal parts Virginia and latakia plus 1/2 part perique. After one bowl I mixed it in with my other stuff and it didn't degrade it any. I only smoke meerschaum so maybe that makes a difference. By the way, against all advice I like a cake in my meerschaum; if it's good for brier why not anything else.

I really Love this Crumble Kake, rich Virginia with the Perique and Rum makes for an incredible smoke.
