Not going to be in my rotation
I wanted to try some more English/Latakia blends so I ordered this. I found out that I don't enjoy these types of blends. Can't say anything bad about it, it's just mot for me.

Incredible smoke!
Before you turn your nose up at the sour pungent smell, consider pairing this concoction with an Irish whiskey. You’ll discover a whole new world of flavors that emerge. Letting it dry out a little hides the sourness and becomes just another boring English blend. So, smoke fresh.

Awesome, unique smoke
This is great tobacco with a very unique smell and flavor. You open the tin and your nose gets tickled with the pungent, vinegary scent of perique as well as a hint of Latakia and other orientals. The smoke is smooth, sour and flavorful, but not too strong and in no way harsh. An interesting, satisfying smoking experience. Very good stuff.

My favorite English. Just perfect, all the components work so great together that the smoking experience is great. Not much more to say. I'd put Plum Pudding a close second.

Just The Right Mix of Sour and Spice
One of my favorite blends of all time is McClelland Oriental No. 6. I've tried to find something similar and Mississippi River is as close as it gets. What I love about this tobacco is that it hits you with a bright sour rush on the front and sides of your tongue. Then you get the judicious hit of oriental/latakia/and perique. It's a wonderful combination that I think most people underrate. Great smoke, in my opinion; top-five tobacco for me.

I can't imagine that the "Original" formula is better than this. This a really interesting flavorful/complex and easy to smoke tobacco! This will now become another of my favorites. Buying more...
