Being an apple shaped pipe makes this Savinelli pipe even more popular than usual. Even though the Tundra collection is an aesthetically superior design, the 626 just looks great in every style. Inspired by the cold and barren climate of the arctic soil, this pipe has an earthy colored smooth finish and an acrylic stem.

626 Tundra
This is a fine little smoking pipe... The 626 (IMO) is a fairly small pipe but it has a deceptively large bowl for its size. Fits in a pocket nicely, easy to hold, easy to clinch, clean and maintain. Break in was easy too! I definitely like pipes without a bowl coating, bonus with this one! I personally like the balsa filtration system on my Savinelli's... Helps with excess moisture and "gurgle" but can easily be removed altogether with the included 3mm adapter. It can get too hot to hold while smoking it, but that's more my fault than any kind of flaw in the pipe. It just reminds me to SLOW DOWN! Anyway, the stem on my pipe is a nice color but I was hoping for a more "wood grain like" finish like the one pictured here. It's a little darker than expected and doesn't really match the wood stain color too well, but it's not bad... However, the wood grain on my pipe is "stunning" for lack of a better word. It's absolutely beautiful and makes up for the darker stem. I love the grains/burl of briar wood! Discrepancies aside, I like my 626 Tundra... This particular pipe is 1 of several 626's that I own and it's every bit as good of a smoking pipe as my others. It's a nice addition to my collection and in my steady rotation. The 626 is a fine smoking pipe and the Tundra version is no exception...
