Savinelli Roma 614
This is a great pipe! I like the bend and the bit, easy to smoke, and relatively lightweight if you like to let it hang from your teeth while you are doing something else besides concentrating on just smoking. The tenon fits the mortise perfectly and so smoothly, that’s Italian craftsmanship for you. It appears to have a moisture trap like a Peterson, which is a nice feature. The color and rustication are great, too.

The bent makes for a true low center of gravity and this pipe sits clenched in the mouth with incredible ease. The saddle bit enhances the comfort even more and this is a true gentleman's smoking pipe. This is a gorgeous pipe to admire and it is so comfortable to smoke. All my Savinelli's smoke like a chimney and are very satisfying. This one is no different and the ease with which it is clenched and hangs from the mouth make it a remarkable smoking experience. I have numerous straights, and this has opened my eyes to how comfortable and wonderful and bent can be to smoke. Truly a great smoking pipe.
