Out of the box this beauty offered a flavorful, non-biting smoke. The fit and finish are what you’d expect from Savinelli, though it is on the heavy side because of the thickness of the briar. Overall, this is a finely crafted pipe worthy of an addition to the pipe smokers collection of high quality pipes.
