The best of aromatics
You would smoke this if it had no topping. It's a nice Burley blend with a lot of Virginia flavor, Orientals to give it some sweet-sour tang, and dark fired Kentucky Burley to make it earthy. Then Mac Baren poured some magic on top -- multiple floral scents, fruit, wine maybe, some berries -- that makes it like smoking in a room full of flowers while eating dessert. The early tins were wet, but now, the blend seems perfect. Most aromatics get a bad rap because they are cheap, Cavendish and back lot Burley mixed up with too much of some sugar-sauce poured all over them, but this is a good blend with a topping that complements the tobacco flavor. If you like aromatics, or just want to smell like something other than a dung storage unit fire when you smoke a fat Latakia blend, try this one out. It's the best aromatic I know, and less floral than Lakelands but with more aromatic flavor than Captain Black. Also: leaves a room smelling like potpourri and wine coolers. My wife no longer hits me with a tire iron every night, and we've resumed marital relations, but I also like this blend for its merits.
