Great
I was using the 9mm and they work great, they do not alter the taste. I also broke one in half and was able have 1 full size, one half size no problem for an extra smooth smoke. It was my first time using these and I have been impressed.

Great Filters
These little gems cut back on moisture and tobacco bits quite well. They also allow better air flow than the 9mm filters, are cheaper, and are biodegradable.

Alternative Filter
I have settled upon using the Savinelli 9mm balsa filters for any of my pipes that accept 9mm filters. As a minimum, that includes nearly all Vauens and most Savinelli's. They are light weight, inexpensive, and do not seem to alter the smoke/taste, etc. in any way, yet do a most thorough jo of absorbing any moisture and small bits of tobacco. They're a must have in my tobacco pouch and around the house....Great little enhancing product!
