Frustrating
I have enjoyed Savinelli filters in the past; however I just spent $30 on filters I can’t use. Having cut the filters open,I discovered that Savinelli changed the charcoal from oblong pellets to smaller crushed dust preventing any draw. I am frustrated and feel I will need to buy a bunch of 9mm pipes. I am frustrated and would have thought such a well respected company like Savinelli would have quality control.

Best Savinelli Filter
These filters are the best Savinelli has to offer in my opinion. The balsa filters limits the flavor more to me. Both do an excellent job at delivering cool and dry smoke. But charcoal filters deliver a little bit more flavor than the Balsa filters do.

A LITTLE HARD TO DRAW 0N, BUT OK.

I just got some of these to try as an alternative to the balsa filters. I have to say, they provide an extremely cool but still flavorful smoke! They restrict the draw slightly, which may put off some folks. But, it is an easy adjustment. Highly recommended!
