Robert Lewis is one of the oldest pipe tobacco companies in the world. One of their premier blends, which has just recently been produced on a more massive scale, is the Tree Mixture, an english tobacco. This blend is comprised of Black Cavendish, Latakia, Oriental, and Virginia tobacco, which meld together to deliver a pure medium bodied smoke.

    Unique

In all fairness I'll say that it's been difficult for me to find a blend, regardless of brand, that I truly don't like as long as I'm choosing from my preferred styles. This is a unique English that stands out to me in its flavor profile. There is a unique "tang" that comes through from the Oriental leaf along with the nice campfire smokiness one expects from this family of blends. So far I have found Robert Lewis's blends (3 so far) to all be a little different from the crowd - in a good way. No issues with moisture, quality of burn, etc. A lot more "umph" than Orcilla Mixture (also 5 * from me), so for me this one would not be an all day smoke, simply due to the big flavor. But one I've ordered to have for the future and will enjoy reaching for again, especially in the chill of the colder seasons.

    One of a kind

If you like English blends, you need to try one tin. I have not come across anything like this before. This is a blend where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The Cavendish is extremely high quality & just pushes it to another level.
