Wallace flake
I absolutely love this tobacco!

A nice straightforward Virginia with some added interest with the light essence of plum.
Tight strips of dark pressed flakes (like SG FVF). It offers a great tin aroma with that plum essence topping coming thru; more prevalent than in the actual smoking experience. The tobacco comes from the tin is a little moist, but just right after rubbing out and then standing for 10 minutes or so. I'm OK with that. I like Wallace Flake for the combined character of a quality pressed Virginia and a subtle plum casing. Not sugary or syrupy like some low end Cavendish flavored offerings; it's very subtle. It smokes slow and cool, with no bite, and lasts a good while. The aroma when smoked is like Escudo's tin aroma; I like that. I've have often wished the Escudo olfactory impression when smoked more closely resembled its tine aroma. Give this one a try. Not super complex; just a nice straightforward Virginia with some added interest with the light essence of plum. Pipe Used: Ser Jacopo Rowlette Candle Wax Age When Smoked: June 2018

Wallace flake
Great folded, rubbed out, cube cut. Fresh out of the tin or let it dry. Great flavor(s). Burns well into ash with little to no tamping. Tastes buds differ, so get some and take it for a test drive. Taste for yourself what this flake has to offer. Just Sayin.

Wallace flake
Out of the tin, or let it dry. It's a great time as your tasting a few different things. Dark sweetness is ever present. Definitely a medium body tobacco. Lighter smokers will get a nic hit. Great burn after some dry time and no re-lights. Great in a Meer, Briar or a Cob. Get yourself some and take it for a test drive. Just Sayin.

Great Flake
This flake has an awesome tin note and a fantastic quality of tobacco. I cracked the tin open the evening it came in and gave it a try. I should've let it dry another 10-15 minutes because it was difficult to get going. Once it did get lit it stayed and produced clouds of smoke. Like the title says it's a great flake, however, I decided to can it and put it away to let it get some age on it. To me, this is a summer smoke that will get even better than it already is with age.
