For a large portion of pipe smokers out there, Virginia/Perique style blends are at the top of the totem pole. In my Top 10
There are quite a few amazing blends under the Rattray's brand, but this is my favorite. High-quality Virginias with a little Burley and Perique. Fantastic when aged.

A very pleasant smoke, broken flake va just a touch of perique a go to blend easy to pack, slow smoking.

Old Gowrie is in that place between Hal O the Wynd and Marlin Flake. I'm a big fan of Hal O the Wynd, but sometimes I need a little less nicotine, this is the one I reach.
