I call this "The Little Pipe That Could"
I have many good pipes, some great pipes, but this is my absolute favorite I rotate my pipes, but this one gets used at least every other day, just because it's so phenomenal. It's a workhorse and requires no pampering. I light it, and it goes to work for me, generating lots of pleasant smoke. I can do chores while smoking this pipe because it's easy to clench, and doesn't require re-lights and a bunch of tamping. I highly recommend this pipe!

My 2nd Harpoon Pipe
First, let me brag on the fine folks at www.TobaccoPipes.com. No, I am not a paid endorser (but I wish I were)! These friendly folks always deliver the goods in a timely manner & at a very fair price. The Rattray Harpoon pipes have clean lines & beautiful finishes. However, I do have 2 somewhat negative comments that in no way should be construed toward TP.com >>> Both pipes smoked somewhat "hot to the touch" until well broken-in after quite a bit of smoking. This leads me to believe that the briar used was not as well cured as it should / could have been. Frankly, I've smoked corncob pipes (right out of the box) that were better smokes! The second negative is that the last one received did not pass the "pipe cleaner test"... I mean not at all ... I had to drill out the bit passage to open up the draw just to permit a pipe cleaner to pass thru it. Otherwise, with a little patience & a few adjustments ... these pipes are now behaving properly!
