The perfect hiking aro pipe doesn't exi....
picked this one up from the BF sale here. Compact, highly portable, very easy to clean and use. only thing keeping this from being a 5 star pipe is the lack of easily available bowls for this pipe. currently paired with a Morgan Bones stack bowl crafted for Wiebe pipes. brings out the flavors of most aros with a gentle slow cadence, and easy draw. very easy to hotbox this pipe leading to dangerous overburn of the briar bowl. shines best in colder weather allowing the radiator fins to do their job best at stripping the heat out of the smoke allowing you to taste more of the natural flavors of the tobacco and any cased or top added notes. quick breakdown of of both the pipe and the bowl allow for easy transporting in a pocket, jacket, or vest. and the all metal construction is durable and tough enough to take everywhere without fear of breakage like with most traditional briar pipes. if you are looking for a durable non-traditional aro pipe fit for the great outdoors, this may be the pipe for you.
