The packaging swears the sweet notes are plum, but us and others think it taste more like berry. The Peterson University Flake pipe tobacco is a popular choice for flake tobacco fans who enjoy a tobacco that tastes exactly like it smells in the tin.

Solid flake.Bon appetit;))))).
Solid flake. Oily. It is not hot to smoke, but do not rush. It seems to me that tobacco is very, very … Bon Appetit;).

Love this stuff!
A very well done flavoring job done with this blend. First, the tobacco, glorious flake. Picture 3P plug beautifully and thinly sliced after receiving a perfectly applied plum flavor topping. It truly is perfectly done. I could easily smoke this all day everyday.

Couldn't get much out of it.
I have seen great reviews of this tobacco and it could be a great one and I am just not experienced in pipe smoking because I couldn't get much out of it.

Very hard to smoke.

Condition and use
Flakes are intact and moisture content is prime for storage, difficulty of burn is moderate, doddle is apparent with breathe technique being employed. Non offensive odor and is sweet to taste.

Great Taste
Smooth and fresh. Easy to rub. First 5 puffs was really unforgettable. It is strong. Not aromatic but smooth flavor.

University flake
This is one of my favorite tobacco's. It is a delightful all-day smoke for me. it is best smoked (savored) slowly to get the best from the blend. It has a wonderful plum flavor that is just delivered in the correct amount. It burns very evenly if packed correctly I use two methods sometimes I rub it out other times I fold and pack. either method is fine as long as you don't over press it. I am smoking this in either a 1960's Kaywoodie pot or Savinelli Spring 606 ks. I believe this tobacco and others like this require a larger bowl to get the most out of the tobacco. This and Orlick golden slices along with Erinmore flake are all. Enjoy them all

Its Mellow
Definitely a mild flake. Probably very mellow. However, I want to try this aged.
