One of our favorite characters from the world of Sherlock Holmes is Ms. Hudson, the inspiration for this Peterson of Dublin pipe. The silhouette that is of a short straight Bulldog pipe. The vulcanite stem has been given the patented Peterson P-Lip bit which helps the pipe to smoke significantly cooler. The briar has been rusticated and is wrapped in a sterling silver band.

Peterson Sherlock Holmes Hudson
Great pipe and smokes great once you get used to being rather short. Steady calm sips or it tends to get hot and so does the smoke. If you get the rustic Peterson check for the stain dripping in the bowl. If so clean with your favorite drinking spirit wetted on a paper towel to remove the stain. It may take a couple of times. About 50 min rest between spirit cleaning to remove this excess stain.

Nice Pipe
Bought this pipe just to add to my Peterson Sherlock Holmes collection, but it does smoke fairly well. Short pipes seem to smoke hotter though so if you haven't smoked one you might keep that in mind. It draws nicely and sits well in my mouth/teeth. I'm well pleased with my purchase.
