Very Good VaPer Blend
This is a great VaPer blend that is very very similar to Escudo in look and taste. In fact, if I was asked to smoke it without knowing what blend it was I could easily identify this blend as Escudo. I would love to know the percentage of Perique used in this blend, because it perfectly suits my palate - not too spicy and just enough to enhance the Virginias. The Virginias produce a fantastic grassy sweetness and the Perique adds just enough spice and dark fruit flavor that easily makes this an everyday smoke for any VaPer lover. However, given the fact Escudo is typically $1-2 cheaper per tin leads me to think this will not become a regular blend for me to purchase, even though I really like it.

This is one of the finest tobaccos on the market. i have tried many types, but this is surprise. There is a very particular taste on it, with very little aroma.

Best So Far
Switched from cigars to pipes recently so not a novice at smoking but I am to pipes so I started with the aromatics as many have suggested. After finding tobaccos (boswell northwoods and a few latakia forward blends) that weren't flavored were more of what I was looking for, I decided I wanted to try a Virginia forward and heard good things about this one. At first light I was blown away by the flavor and was truly the best smoke to date, only other smokes that have done this was padron cigars. This was like smoking an aromatic that didnt feel like an aromatic, a well aged cigar thats sweet and bright but also robust and buttery with a deep complex flavor, bready, and maybe slightly grassy. Pure tobacco flavor thats sweet'ish, not too much though. Flavor stayed until probably 3/4 of the way through and even the last bit was still enthralling me. Give this a try it if you never have!
