The Peterson My Mixture 965 is a fairly strong english blend, but thanks to the large amount of Cavendish used, it smokes very smooth and painlessly. Also combining Orientals and Latakia, this blend is a favorite of intellectuals and connoisseurs. With no flavoring and a tolerable room note, this is a blend that really speaks for itself. Great
Old style 965, absolutely recommended a cut tobacco. It tastes very good. Let's try it.

965
An old FAVE. Bill Faulkner's Number One choice in a Digby pipe, I'm glad Peterson resurrected this blend. Great any time, any place- rich, pleasant on the tongue, great taste. A classic tabak!

Mixture 965
This blend has been around for a very long time for a reason. It is strong and unapologetic, and pairs perfectly with a nice bourbon. Highly recommended.

965 My Mixture
Dependable all-dayer. This was Bill Faulkner's standby, in a Digby pipe. Smoked it for a lot of years, inside and outside. Love its mellow taste! Has no bite, one of those blends that's great any time. Never gets harsh, helps you dream. Been an old friend for many years. Make it one of yours.

965 My Mixture
This blend was William Faulkner's favorite, in a Digby pipe. It's excellent, great flavor, slow-burning, as rich as you'd want. The Peterson version is as close to Dunhill's as anyone can come- I'm glad they salvaged this one, it's one of the better tobaccos out there. A great all-day smoke.

Same as it ever was...
...and that’s a good thing! I first smoked 965 decades ago (at that time the big debate was whether the bulk was as good as the Dunhill tins). After years of smoking this mixture, it disappeared from the stores. Then I saw this Peterson branded product. I was very trepidatious about buying it. Glad I did. Great to have this back.

Good smoke
Not a big lat fan but this is pretty good.

Perfect Tobacco
I was a bit hesitant to try this blend when I saw there was Cavendish in it because the only Cavendish I'd had in any blends is Black Cavendish and I'm really not a fan of the sweetness it adds. However, when I first tried this I was absolutely blown away. To me, this is the taste I think of when I think of "pipe tobacco". This is the tobacco I've been searching for since I started smoking a pipe. While it is an English blend w/ Latakia, I think it's a very well balanced blend. It is not near as Latakia-heavy as Nightcap but is not an underwhelming "Latakia-light" blend like I find Early Morning. It is a full-bodied, well-balanced blend. Pick this up as soon as you can, you will not regret it.

Top Shelf Selection
This is a perfectly balanced, carefully thought out blend. Nice body, and aroma along with an acceptable room note.
