Not bad
This was most underwhelming for me, perhaps because I had such high expectations for it. It's not a bad smoke, it's just not stellar. My wife noted it smelled "like a cigarette" which isn't good. I wouldn't not recommend this, nor would I rave about it.

Light
I love light pipe tobacco and Virginia's and this fits the bill. I have not yet tasted any of the promised booze, but considering it's only my second bowl, and a fairly new pipe this isn't unexpected. I suspect this would age very well. I'm very pleased with this blend. The key to any of this company's blends I feel is don't expect too from your first and second or third bowl. The lightness, almost citrus, takes nothing away from this satisfying and cool smoke. Barely any bite, also smells a bit like tea and pairs well with it.

Very pleasant smoke
This tobacco smokes very smoothly, with no hint of bite even with fairly aggressive pulling. The tin note is Date Nut Loaf, and the flavor is nutty-sweet, much like a good maduro cigar. The room note is pleasant, if not as sweet and fruity as Cherry or Rum/Maple. Full bodied without being overwhelming. Highly recommended, particularly for the holidays.

Packaging Really Cool
Really dig the packaging. Smells great, of course. Top quality.

Fantastic
I am a sailor who often smokes at the yacht club or out on a boat. I have smoked this blend in both my savinelli churchwarden and an artisan Becker and MusicĂ³ pipe from Italy. This is an incredibly well burning, easy to pack product, despite how dry and chunky it may seam out of the tin. It burns evenly and smoothly and live sup to the Peterson's reputation. In terms of flavor, I would like to have tasted the maple and rum flavor more but on the account of my love of cigars, I love it. A must try for any cigar aficionado. The mahogany taste is very strong and it is a truly lovely tobacco.

Lakeland and Tasty
I was surprised to find that this was a Lakeland blend. It was my first experience with a Lakeland. Its easily the most unique blend I've had and I cant stop thinking about it. I did not get any of the maple or rum in the smoke, but I didn't really care. This is something that every pipe smoker should try.
