The Elizabethan Mixture was adapted as part of the Peterson tobacco series by Orlik of Denmark. Now that Peterson has made this blend truly theirs, it is been brought back to life and offered to those of us in the western hemisphere. A rubbed ribbon cut blend made primarily of Virginia and Perique tobacco, this blend has a medium body and flavor with a tolerable room note. Some say they can detect citrus in this blend, but as it is not flavored, there is no way to be sure.

A true tobacco blend
A wonderful Blend that is great for any occasion. I’ve enjoyed smoking this blend in both my corn cobs and my Savinelli. Burns good and smells delightful!

I saw a video review of this bend on youtube and was intrigued. I am a fan of Perique in my English blends and had never tried a VaPer. I was a bit hesitant as several Virginia blends I've tried tend to burn hot and lead to tongue bite. At least for me... To my pleasant surprise this has become one of my favorite blends. It has a fruity sweet taste with hints of berry and dates. I'm sure the later is coming from the Perique. I highly recommend this blend it is delicious all the way to the bottom of the bowl and there is absolutely no tongue bite. It has a permanent place in your rotation.

Want a reliable no-frills smoke that doesn’t need a perfect pack or drying, this is it. Glock of smoke IMO, if I’m feeling an aromatic or a cigar and I have this I’m never upset.

Just like the Dunhill mixture. Very friendly, easy, natural kind of smoke. Lots of Virginias could smoke it all day. Nice room note too.
