The Elizabethan Mixture was adapted as part of the Peterson tobacco series by Orlik of Denmark. Now that Peterson has made this blend truly theirs, it is been brought back to life and offered to those of us in the western hemisphere. A rubbed ribbon cut blend made primarily of Virginia and Perique tobacco, this blend has a medium body and flavor with a tolerable room note. Some say they can detect citrus in this blend, but as it is not flavored, there is no way to be sure.

Aroma not so nice
I love a good virginia blend however this left me wanting. Perhaps its the perique but I found it more like a cigarette blend. The tin note was fine but once packed in the pipe and lit the aroma hit me. Cigarettes. I tolerated it. Good tobacco flavor but I wasn’t getting virginia. There is a definite aftertaste of virginia though. To me its tolerable but not a favorite. The room note was not what I expected.

Tobacco
At first taste I thought this vaper was bland, however I was very wrong. This is very flavorful outside with a cool breeze but inside in stale air is very meh. I highly recommend this for early morning park/ dog walks on a cool morning. Especially if English and balkans are not your thing.

Not bad, but the 965 is nicer. Rather dull, regular smoke.

At first you may think (as you often see) "what's all the fuss about?", I actually missed this with an ounce of Irish Blessing and it worked really well, my wife didn't like the room note on IB. Overall a fairly light, mild tobacco, don't expect bells and whistles, just a consistent cool smoke

Very nice
Very nice blend all around. Came from cigars, so not a fan of aromatics. This has the full flavor and thickness of smoke that is perfect for me. I can’t pick out all the nuances, but it just tastes and burns great.
