Peterson Early Morning Pipe
Very good English blend. No bite, in fact I can't find that it has anything that isn't good. Great nuty flavor, could easy be an all day smoke.

Used it for years, first when it was Dunhill. Mix it with Nightcap for an all-day smoke.

Not. For. Me.
I know this is rated highly by many smokers. I'm not one of them. I've tried it many times and I just don't see it. I think who likes what in a lot of cases just comes down to body chemistry. This does not suit mine. I get none of the flavors I hear everyone else reviewing. Even just "puffing" and unlit bowl of this has an unpleasant oily taste/scent. For me it's like smoking a bowl full of black pepper. It just burns and tastes acrid. No enjoyment whatsoever. The harshest cigar I've ever had tastes better than this. I know none of these are direct comparisons, but I like English Luxury, Proper English, Arango Balkan Supreme, plum pudding, etc. This I just can't do. I don't feel "bad" giving this a negative review, as so many other people like it, I know my review probably won't dissuade anyone from trying it, but now I'll have to read through other reviews to see if anyone shares my opinion. It's grown on me
I really like this tin, it's a nice rotation with some of the sweeter blends. Great morning noon and evening. Great with tea and coffee. Something meditative and stimulating about the blend, without assaulting your senses.

Try something new
I ordered this because I wanted a milder version of their Nightcap blend, this did disappoint me. The gentle spice really does help clear the morning cobwebs, it's quite invigorating with your morning tea or coffee. I smoked it as slowly as possible and found it burns cleans and cool. I would recommend to those wanting something to contrast with sweeter blends and give variety.

Not just for mornings
I returned to pipe smoking after 20 years, and one of several I’ve purchased is EMP. it is now at the top of my list, especially as my taste now runs to the mellower end of the spectrum. I already ordered my second can in case I run out.
