Peterson Aran 701 Smooth Tobacco Pipe

This pipe is a little smaller than anticipated, like it was meant for a leprechaun small... All jokes aside, this is a very nice pipe and it's beautiful too! It sits in my collection of briar wood pipes nicely! I really like that it makes for a shorter smoke (due to its size) when time is a consideration, for that, it gets used often. Only other fault (other than its size) I will mention is that moisture develops pretty fast and it gets hot quickly too. That could probably be my fault on both accounts but I think it's more from the size of the pipe rather than anything I'm doing... It has a small but deep bowl with thin side walls and a thin stem. However, slowing down the smoke with long shallow draws dramatically reduces any gurgle it can get, but it still gets pretty hot... I like this poker style pipe a lot! It sits in my hand well, it's easily clenched, super light weight, free standing to sit it down but the best part about it... It is a wonderful smoking pipe! One of my favorites in fact, despite its size... No filter on this pipe, it'll hit hard (with smoke volume) if you want it too... The carry bag Peterson pipes come with is super nice too! Easily stash it in a coat/jacket pocket to carry it with you with ease. I would buy this pipe again I like it so much. Reasonable price point too
