This is an amazing pipe for the money. Beautiful briarwood grain, a larger draw hole, thicker wall and fits in the hand very comfortably. To me, it's as good as any 1K Dunhill. I only wish it had a nice acrylic amber tortoise color stem.

The Aran 408 FT is an excellent attractive pipe.
This Peterson Bent Author style is a delight to hold and to smoke. The robust size bowl/shank, and thick walls of the bowl, deliver a very cool smoke. I have yet to experience a hot bowl with this one. It fits snugly in the hand. As most Petersons, it has a rather larger airway, which I like. My preference in tobacco runs toward the Virginia's, so I'm a sipper, not a puffer. But this pipe does both well. If you enjoy bold English blends, this one delivers. My tastes are on the milder side, best of both worlds. I could not be happier with this pipe.
