The best english blend that i've ever smoked in decades!

One of the best!
Quite simply one of the best, if not the best, English blends I've had. For me, it's far better than the much-vaunted Nightcap, for example. It's got the right mix of strong latakia presence, supported perfectly by the base of virginia and tang of the oriental. The fact that something this good is available in bulk at a lower price than some of the supposed premium English blends is quite amazing and a huge bonus. Other similar bulk English/Balkan blends that I also rate very highly are Arango Balkan Supreme, Father Dempsey and Engine 99.

PS 52
My number one for years. Not for everyone, especially with lighting it gives the stronger taste of the Latakia, which I enjoy. After a bowl or two I switch to something lighter.

In my rotation
The PS52 is the strongest tobacco I keep in my rotation. It's like hot sauce on your pizza. Good change now and then but for me, not an everyday smoke. It's like a welcome reset that keeps my tobacco choices in check and enjoyable.

Proper Indeed
Picked this up on a search for an excellent English blend. And as far as bulk blends go, this one is superb. Firm but not overly strong Latakia. This will definitely be a main stay in my rotation.

A very good English blend
I am smoking this for the first time today from a very recent order. It reminds me of being outside sitting at the camp fire with an old musty canvas tent behind me drying out after a quick rain. The retrohale of the smoke brings an image of freshly gathered mushrooms while a taste of toasted walnuts lingers on my plate. It is a very pleasant smoke. My bag was a little moist so I caught a bit of tongue bite keeping the bowl burning but a little dry time will fix that.

Very smooth and tasty. IMHO it is the same as Balkan Sasieni.

Gave this a try because of the reviews. I was not disappointed I am still trying other English tobaccos, but I enjoyed this enough I ordered more after trying and smoke everyday anytime of the day. I recommend giving it a try.
