A great!

This is really nice pressed Virginia-perique blend. It is good right out of the box. I will say that it is better with a couple of years on it. Nice Virginia flavor mixed with the perique. Got a bit of it in my cellar.

Very good tobacco, excellent quality. It burns slowly and cool, with no bite at all. I smoked it after a year since I purchased it, and really enjoyed it. Nice aftertaste. I could taste a little perique amount, I thought it would have some bigger proportion of it (the cavendish doesn't add much to the blend).

You can store some in large quantities.

It's great to smoke directly, and it's better to store it for a while.

When I am in the mood for something different, and a little stronger than my daily Granger, I smoke this. Good taste burns good and is very satisfying.

This stuff is pretty good fresh but I like to stick it in a jar or mylar bag and wait because it is really good with some time on it.

20 DEC, 2018 I busted open the 2018 sample for a whiff. The aroma is that of grasses, hay, and a hint of cinnamon. I am even picking up on the black Cavendish. This is enticing to my sense of taste. Upon initial light this is overpowered by the Perique. The Perique is stout, very overwhelming. I am not getting much flavor from any of the other ingredient; this truly is a shame as I thought this was going to be a bit sweeter than what is showing. There is little doubt in my mind that this blend has a big nic hit. My head is swimming. I expected a somewhat leisurely, laid back, sweet smoke, but found this to be a strong, hard hitting smoke. This is not an everyday smoke. This is for the days that one wants to forget how bad it actually was.
