Peter Stokkebye PS 402 Luxury Twist Flake Pipe Tobacco

This is an excellent smoke. Breaks down nicely, dry enough to light like a champ and stay lit, yet enough moisture to make the bowl last. Nice natural grassy taste up front that melted into a sweet, buttery caramel flavor as the bowl burned down. A nice natural sweetness without being syrupy or goopy. Great stuff.

Love it as always! One of my go to absolute favorites.

I bought 4oz initially and after smoking it, realised it wasn't going to be enough. Returned and bought 1.5lb so I never run out! Love the slight caramel flavor.

A little wet straight out of the bag , great aroma , good room note , reminds me a little of Petes " B&B " . Wish it came in a tin !

I had intensions of cellering straight away, but first sample was a luxurious melange of toffee, vanilla and an evolution of clean deep flavors as it roasted in the pipe. You will be retrohailing this alot. To be honest it's the first bowl I finished to the end....even started tasting the briar not realizing. The room note is reminds me of the old days when you could smoke a pipe in a public library.

I really liked it.A good fine aroma from ps 402 and tongue rash not so evident.Over all a really enjoyable smoke.

This is my favorite pure Virginia flake that I have found. I go through a half pound a month. It is smooth as buttered glass

Just started smoking Virginias and this was a good smoke. I have a feeling that the more I age it the better it will get. Bread and nutty is what I got from it. Found I needed to slow down a little in order to keep that sweetness coming.
