Ode to 2020
I bought 16oz of this delightful tobacco March of 2020 as the world began to unravel. I was one of the many who was able to work from home and this tobacco became a daily burn. It's like Steely Dan, never too far in one direction but steady with the jams and always there to surprise you with a subtle groove. The room note is pleasant and will forever remind me of Tiger King, Mike Pence and a fly, Rudy Giuliani leaking, the Ocean Spray guy, and of course Zoom. I normally smoke more Cavendish heavy tobacco's like B&B so this was more mild with the Burley and Virginia coming through. Not a significant bite and not a huge whiskey flavour present, but if you want something to taste like Highland whiskey, drink Macallan 12 year you idiot. I digress, if you want something consistently mild and relaxing to smoke while watching people scurry around thinking that they can control any of this chaos called life, then this is the tobacco for you.
