I wanted to love this tobacco after I found out that this is what was smoked during the filming of the LOTR movies, but it just doesn't cut it for me. The smoke itself is nice and smooth, but the flavor is somewhat boring and a little sickly to my palate. I think the citrus is the part that is off-putting to me. I can see how some would like this, it's just not for me.

When I heard that this was the tobacco that they smoked in their pipes during the filming of Peter Jackson’s LOTR trilogy, I just had to try it. Rumor has it that the cast liked it so much that they very quickly ran out of their initial supply, which was very generous from what I understand, and had to order more. It is definitely a very pleasant and mild smoke. Very faint hint of chocolate and vanilla, and no tongue bite whatsoever, that I could detect. Not the greatest, but certainly very good.
