Great little pipe
This is such a unique pipe I didn't know what to expect—I just liked the idea. Turns out it's a perfect pipe for a quick smoke. I really like the filter method, with little volcanic pebbles ("filter stones") placed into a spiral chamber, through which the smoke passes under the removable ceramic bowl. I thought I'd made a mistake buying this pipe when smoking the first, awful-tasting bowl, but it turned out to be the tobacco I was smoking for the first time that I didn't (and don't) like—C&D Dark Cherry Cavendish. It's much better with my go-to Sutliff Molto Dolche. This Shorty also smokes cooler than I expected, given the close proximity of the bowl to the bit. The outer bowl remains cool, while the ceramic inner bowl, of course, gets quite hot. This pipe probably won't win any beauty contests, but it's a great little pipe to keep in my pocket when I'm out and about. I think I'll give the larger Nording Keystone pipe a try, too, which also uses filter stones and a removable bowl that evidently fits the Shorty. too.

bowl capacity too small
Generally good quality, however, bowl capacity is too small. Also, the mouth-bit / stem should fit the shank more tightly.
