    Freehand Pipe

Posted by Adam S. on 10th Sep 2023

Purchased two for friends for introductory pipes. Each coloring is unique to the pipe. Fit and finish were both very good. BIG bowls on them. Photo does not do well for a size comparison. Plan on at least a 45 minute smoke if not closer to an hour!

    AWESOME PIPE

Posted by Kissel Bixby on 8th Jul 2021

I started dedicating pipes to English vs aros and needed another English. Smoking my second bowl with this pipe and it is awesome. This is my 3 Missouri. I have a no-frills straight (several years old) that tastes awful but this one is great taste and natural tobacco aroma. So far their best pipe is the wizard churchwarden in the cobbit collection. I am a clencher but the coolness of smoke and flavor is amazing with a churchwarden. This bowl is similar enough to the wizard. Nice and hefty to provide a solid 45min-1hr smoke. I do not get the corn cob influence on the experience, which I prefer. Even chugged a bit I don't get burning corn flavor. It is a definite must-have for the money, quality, and the look. If you are looking to only clench it is a bit heavy when fully filled. It can be done but it isn't comfortable to me for extended periods.

    Freehand

I thought this would be my favorite. Turns out I like the less giant Missouri meerschaums better. I found it to gurgle. Maybe I'm just not using it right... Still, a nice pipe but not the end all be all I thought it would be. Tobaccopipes.com were extremely accommodating when I ordered as the color I wanted was out of stock (seemed out of stock everywhere) and they made it very easy to switch to the natural color. It's definitely still in the rotation, just not my favorite. Well made for sure, and the stem is great.

    Freehand Dark Stain

This is just a Point Blank Lovely pipe!!! Gorgeous in appearance, Super Nice capacity bowl, and it smokes drier and cooler than some Real High Dollar briars I have!! The Natural Red version is every bit as good but it's lighter in weight ( to Me anyway ).

    Great pipe for the money

I cannot imagine a better pipe value that this. The pipe looks amazing, it really captures that rustic fantastical whimsy of a Nording style freehand, and applies it to the american everyman's style and function of a cob pipe.
