A smallish Churchwarden or just a cob with an extra-long vulcanite stem, whichever you see, the Cobbit Elf is a bold and exciting choice. The cob itself is a slightly taller version of Missouri Meerschaum’s popular Rob Roy shape. This is a must-have addition to the collection of any cob smoker.

Nice pipe to sit and contimplate with...
Very nice, cool smoking pipe. A bit too heavy for clenching, but it is very comfortable in the hand. Offers an hour to 1.5-hour smoke most of the time with most tobaccos in my experience. It's not really conducive to walking around/working on projects with, but that's not really its intended purpose. Nice pipe to sit and read with or for sitting by a fire contemplating the universe and all those other important philosophical questions that tend to arise while staring at the flames. ;)

Great design
Perfect for having a long smoke while sitting in my studio. That being said it is probably best as a reading pipe, not quite as versatile even if still smaller than other churchwarden pipes. Easy to keep lit, easy to handle, easy to break in.

missouri meerschaum cobbit elf tobacco pipe
Really cool looking pipe, not too long, just the right length. I really like the darker finish on the bowl. :)

Good cob
MO meerschaum never fails to impress me. This cob smokes comparable to some $50 briars Ive smoked but at a fraction of the cost. The longer stem makes for a cool smoke.

Another good MM cob
I've enjoyed smoking MM cobs for along time and this Elf is no exception. It smokes about 15 minutes longer than my look alike Rob Roy legend due to higher chamber. Very good fit from shank to stem. Smokes as expected. Great pipe and very good service. Best price I found.

Nice Long Stem
This is my first long stem pipe. I love it! I am a devout corn cob smoker and will not use any other type of bowl. The Cobbit Elf is a nice smoking cob. It's the first cob I have had that does not use a filter but I have found no issues with that. The cob bowl is beautiful both in shape and color. It took a couple of bowls to burn the wood taste out. Only issue I have with this particular bowl is the stem is very tight and takes a bit of twisting to remove it for cleaning.

Simply excellent
If you go by price versus quality smoke this type of pipe would be the best in the world. Yes they are cheap but what a wonderful smoke you get. I use the balsa wood filter and get a nice cool smoke with plenty of flavor but you really don't need a filter. Now these pipes are not for heavy puffers. You will certainly shorten their useful lives. I love the cobbit pipes as they are nice a long with a generous bowl for an enjoyable slow hour smoke. For the price you put out you can get years of pleasurable smokes in your pipe rotation. Simply a great pipe for anyone.

Great Bargain!
Price was right. FREE SHIPPING! Great! Cool smoke from first puff. Corn Cobs are light and natural. Ordered the Free Hand several days later. Excellent pipe, although a little heavy for an old man. Smokes great. Smoked pipes and cigars(too expensive now) for 60+ years. Corncobs always a favorite.
